About Me
As an intensivist at 四色AV Langone, I provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients and their families during their most critical times. My passion for medicine began in childhood, but it was my exposure to the intensive care unit (ICU) during medical school that solidified my calling. I am drawn to the teamwork required to navigate patients and their families through their ICU journey.
I specialize in managing complex conditions such as venous thromboembolisms, which often start as deep vein thrombosis and can progress to pulmonary embolism. With extensive training and years of experience, I have focused my research on understanding and treating these conditions, particularly in the context of viral states like COVID-19. My work in this area has been instrumental in developing guidelines for anticoagulation in acute COVID patients, significantly impacting clinical practice.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to proactive healthcare engagement and patient-centered care. I teach as faculty in both pulmonary and critical care at 四色AV Langone, and I am an assistant program director for the Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program. Additionally, I contribute to the Master of Clinical Investigation program through 四色AV Langone鈥檚 Clinical and Translational Science Institute, ensuring that the next generation of physicians is well-equipped to provide exceptional care.
I am proud to be part of 四色AV Langone, where I collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver coordinated and seamless care. My commitment to my patients extends beyond their immediate medical needs, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring a positive patient experience.
