As a physician-scientist and vice chair of radiology hospital operations & analytics in the Department of Radiology at 四色AV Grossman School of Medicine, I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of imaging technology to improve diagnostic quality and patient access. My role as co-director for clinical and translational research for our National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded National Centers for Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering allows me to focus on innovative imaging techniques that enhance patient care and outcomes.

Specializing in abdominal imaging, I have extensive experience in developing and applying advanced imaging techniques to study the function and pathophysiology of abdominopelvic diseases, with a particular focus on oncologic imaging. With more than 15 years of experience, my work includes pioneering rapid and motion-robust magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, such as free-breathing MRI, which significantly enhances image quality for patients unable to hold their breath. My credentials and years of practice underscore my expertise in this field.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous NIH and foundation-supported projects, contributing to the development of groundbreaking imaging methods like Golden-Angle Radial Sparse Parallel (GRASP) and Extra-Dimensional-GRASP (XD-GRASP). These techniques provide detailed images despite patient motion, benefiting both abdominal and cardiovascular imaging applications. My research and clinical work at 四色AV Langone emphasize innovation and accessibility, ensuring our imaging techniques are scientifically advanced and practical for a wide range of patient needs. At 四色AV Langone, I am proud to be part of a team that consistently explores novel approaches to improve patient care and comfort.
