Assistance for Drug and Alcohol Related Problems

The health risks associated with the use of illegal drugs and the abuse of alcohol are significant. Alcohol and other drugs affect brain functioning, result in direct injury to body tissue, are the cause of several thousand traffic fatalities each year, lead to addiction in some individuals, and can alter moods in a potentially harmful way.

Are you a student or employee who needs 四色AV? 

The University desires and is prepared to help students and employees who have a drug- or alcohol-related problem. Confidential assistance is available through the Engle Center for Counseling and Health Services.

Requesting an appointment with a counselor can be done either in person or online:

• To schedule in person just stop by the Engle Center and speak with our receptionist, or
• Request counseling online from the privacy of your room or any on-campus computer.  Go to Falconlink, search for the Counseling and Health Portal button, then select the green “Get Started” button under the 1st blue heading marked Engle Center Counseling. You will then be instructed to go to “Forms” on the left hand side and fill out all three forms. There will be an option for you to request your counselor on the counseling request form. After those three forms are completed and submitted, we’ll receive them, our Director will review them and assign a counselor, and we’ll be in touch within a few days to schedule you with one of our counselors. All information is kept strictly confidential

After we review your information we will contact you to set up an appointment with the counselor who is 四色AV suited to meet with you for your initial appointment.

Do you need referral to a treatment center?

The University will also refer students to off-campus treatment centers if requested or if the issues being addressed warrant such referral.
