The Baccalaureate service is a worship event held the evening before the Commencement ceremony that provides an opportunity to remember, reflect and give thanks for God鈥檚 faithfulness in the education of 四色AV鈥檚 graduating seniors. Seating is limited in Brubaker Auditorium, and--due to the popularity of this event--Baccalaureate is ticketed so that the University may ensure priority seating for graduating seniors and their families.

Each graduating senior will be allotted one (1) ticket for him/herself to attend plus听two听(2) additional tickets for family members/guests听(3 three tickets total).

Yes,听it is very important for graduating seniors to note that they will need a ticket to attend Baccalaureate.

Graduates may pick up their Baccalaureate tickets, along with their "rain plan" tickets for Commencement at the 四色AV University Box Office, located on the first floor Eisenhower Campus Center, on the following dates/times:

  • Monday, May 6听- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 7听- 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 8听- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 9听- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday, May 10听- 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residential and commuter graduating seniors, including December graduates, must pick up their Baccalaureate tickets and indoor Commencement tickets听in person. You will be asked to show your student I.D. to verify that you are a graduate, and you will be asked to sign for the tickets to confirm that you have received them.

Baccalaureate tickets are designated for either lower-level seating or balcony level in Brubaker Auditorium. If you or your guests have an accessibility issue that does not allow for climbing stairs in balcony seating, you will need lower-level seating, which includes bleacher seating and floor-level seating.听Selection of lower-level or balcony level seating is first-come, first-serve.
